McCall, Idaho
It’s been two months since we visited McCall and I am so very excited to be sharing this special place with you now.
This was our first stop on our trip into the mountains from Boise during our month-long-hiatus from California while trying out Idaho for a little bit. What a reprieve it was to arrive in this town. Words cannot explain really how special it felt and the peace we experienced here, but here are some pictures to maybe do it a little more justice!
A small town, kind people, gorgeous nature, peaceful lake, and incredible walkability from our AirBnb that has been coined our “cabin in the woods” by Riley. She loved it here immediately. We all did! After a little bit of a rocky start in Boise for a few weeks it was amazing to see the instant chill that passed over all three of us once we arrived in McCall.
We spent time by the lake, walked the town, explored the parks, picked up berries and sourdough from their farmers market, took Riley for a horseback ride, ate ice creams, and spent time in the stunning backyard with aspens, deer, grasshoppers, and plenty to explore.
It was mid September, the mornings and evenings were cool, the daytime was comfy and sunny. It was perfect shoulder season weather and the town felt quiet and full of local spirit. Here was our few days in this Idaho mountain town, we already cannot wait to go back.
